1. About Us
Tom Kennedy Electrical Services Limited (CRO No. 466185) is a Safe Electric registered electrical contractor based in Ireland. Registered Office: Unit 2, Ballylynch Industrial Estate, Ballylynch, Carrick-on-Suir, Tipperary, E32 DC86, Ireland.
2. Quotations
All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on information provided at the time and may be subject to change if the scope of work changes.
3. Acceptance of Work
Work will commence only upon written or verbal acceptance of a quotation. By accepting a quotation you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in each individual quotation or contract. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act. A deposit may be required before work commences on larger projects.
5. Our Responsibilities
We will carry out all electrical work in accordance with Irish standards (IS 10101), Safe Electric requirements, and all applicable Irish and EU regulations. All works will be carried out by qualified and registered electricians.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the premises, ensure the work area is clear and accessible, and inform us of any known hazards or existing issues prior to commencement of work.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.
8. Warranty
We provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all electrical installations carried out by us. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party interference, or normal wear and tear.
9. Cancellation
Cancellation of agreed works must be made in writing with a minimum of 48 hours notice. We reserve the right to charge for any materials purchased or work already carried out prior to cancellation.
10. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to Irish law and the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
